Meet Veronica Brown, holistic therapist

Veronica Brown : Thérapeute Holistique 

Since the creation of Yodi, Hélène Azancot has enjoyed forging links with wellness experts who share the same values of transparency, cleanliness, naturalness and sustainability.

In order to share these exchanges with as many people as possible, she decided to organize events at the Yodi boutique at 27 avenue Victor Hugo in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, to highlight these inspiring people.

These experts come from different backgrounds: naturopath, author, designer, interior decorator... but they all have one thing in common: they want to make things evolve towards a healthier future.

Today, Hélène met Veronica Brown, holistic coach.

Can you introduce yourself?

I'm a sophrologist, master hypnosis practitioner, RNCP master coach and NLP practitioner. I've been a sophrology and hypnosis trainer since 2015. I am also an author for Eyrolles.

I created my own method, which I call ALIGNEE, and began training therapists in it last year. It's a holistic method that proposes a process of alignment on all levels: mental, physical and spiritual, in order to find one's life path and unfold one's soul. A book on this method will be published by Eyrolles on March 16.

What is holistic therapy?

It's a therapy that deals with the whole person.

What are its principles?

Man is a complete being. Everything is interconnected. You can't treat the body without treating the mind, nor the mind without taking the spirit into account. In my opinion, you can't help the body without connecting it to its soul, its greater self, what it came to embody on this earth.

Can you tell us about your Aligned method?

It's an alignment process that I've put in place as a result of my many years of practice experience. I realized that by combining the different methods I used, I could achieve faster, more effective and longer-lasting results. So, with the consent of my patients, I gradually added hypnosis, sophrology, Taoist exercises, numerology and other intuitive methods to my coaching, using intuition aids such as the pendulum. Then I realized that it was even more effective when we followed a certain order: listen to the mind, take care of the body, visit the intuition, go back to the mind to see how it integrates these changes, if necessary go back to the subconscious and finally that all the changes take place together, with the progress and integration of each part: body, mind, spirit, soul.

Do you have any wellness tips for dealing with stress?

Breathing, living in the moment, moving, laughing, going out, changing posture and angle of vision, always having a playlist with music that makes you want to smile and dance.

Do you have any tips for getting a good night's sleep?

I've done a whole workshop on the subject. First of all, you need to make sure that you're respecting a number of specific points, and then it all depends on you.
I suggest a little sleep ritual that's very effective. You can also listen to meditation and special sleep breathing on my podcast RESPIRE.

What's your well-being routine?

Take time for myself every day, whatever the circumstances.
