Today, around 75% of all aluminum produced is still in the materials production loop. Not only is aluminum readily available, it is also 100% recyclable. In fact, aluminium can be reprocessed and reformed ad infinitum without losing its quality. Using recycled aluminum is clearly better for the environment, as it conserves raw materials and saves 95% energy.
The aluminum recycling process is very simple, thanks to eddy current machines which catch even the smallest aluminum parts. Sorting centers in France are in the process of being equipped, with around thirty of the 178 centers currently equipped. By 2022, an estimated 60 sorting centers will be equipped.
Aluminium consumption is growing in Europe and in France (it represents 16% of the packaging sector in France in 2018), due to the substitution effect. Indeed, aluminum is beginning to replace other materials because it combines several qualities in its own right, such as: lightness, mechanical strength and corrosion resistance, ductility (can be worked and deformed at low temperatures without breaking), recyclability and impermeability...
Yodi and its recyclable packaging

To avoid any transfer between our powders and the aluminum, we've applied a natural varnish to the inside of the bottles! Its eco-friendly quality was of prime importance to Yodi.
